I have to admit maternity is right at the top of my list when it comes to my favorite stage to photograph!!

It is such a miraculous stage in a woman's life and while we feel those 9 months may last forever they are fleeting moments in our lives!

So many clients are hesitant about having maternity portraits done and I urge each of them not to let these moment pass. It is my one regret from my pregnancy, after all I will never be pregnant with my sweet boy ever again. 

Maternity sessions typically take place during the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy or if you are brave early in the 9th month!

It was such an honor to capture this baby bump!

Kirsten and Kehly are very much in love and this little surprise baby is going to be very loved!

Kirsten and Kehly's maternity session took place at The Historic Hutchinson Homestead located in scenic Stone Mountain.

I just LOVE photographing newborns!!!!
I was so excited to get this little beauty in the studio and even more excited to get her outside :)

 and how lucky was I to catch not one but multiple sweet baby smiles- LOVE it!

Baby Sophia was a little fussy when we got started, but nothing a little milk couldn't fix, once her belly was full she slept like a champ!!

and finally a little something for daddy :)

I couldn't have asked for a better North Wilkes Senior Representative for the class of 2013!
Amber is simply put STUNNING and it was rather difficult to separate good and bad photos- which is a good problem to have!!

Amber chose the train tracks in the Elkin/Jonesville area, which allowed for a variety of shots and my favorite: shots on the old railroad bridge!!

Adelyn's 2nd Birthday party was such a huge success!!

From the second I walked in the door I was amazed at the time that had put into the decor, snacks, party hats, and goody bags- it was AMA-ZING!

Pretty stinkin' cute huh?!

and then there was this amazingly delicious cake!!

Mom drove out of town to an amazing bakery to pick up the cake and the very talented Holly Brewer:

On top of delicious treats, scrumptious cake and fantastic decor guests had the opportunity to enjoy pony rides...yes, pony rides!

and needless to say they were a HIT!!

One of my favorite parts of a birthday party--THE PRESENTS :)

and watching Adelyn open her gifts was so fun, seeing so much excitement over each of her gifts was great and it had to make everyone else's heart melt!!

I mean come on--how cute are those faces!!

On top of getting to photograph such a FUN party I also had the opportunity to do a few family sessions for guests!

Working with each of these families was such an honor!!
